The tires on your vehicle have to be inflated properly in order for you to drive safely on the road. Tires that are either overinflated or underinflated can cause you to have a blow out. In order to help maintain your tires, vehicles now come equipped with tire pressure monitoring systems.

When the tire monitoring system warning light comes on, you may have one of several problems. One of your tires may have a puncture, and it may be starting to go flat. You might also have a slow leak that has over time caused enough air loss to trigger the tire pressure warning light.

The Car Trackers wants you to know about another reason why the tire pressure light might be on. Sometimes, the light will come on when the tires are cold in the morning. The light will go off when the tires warm up after you drive for a little while.
